The "1984" system is a true-to-the-original reissue that features brass fine tuners, old style housing and locked in swing arm, bridge mounting wood screws, and a fat solid brass block for incredible tone and sustain. Available in a variety of nut sizes that will fit practically any electric guitar, the tremolo kit contains the bridge, springs & claw, wood screws, and all hardware necessary for installation. The locking nut is sold separately.

The Original 1984 Tremolo has a 10" radius out-of-the-box. A factory-installed shim under the center saddles can be removed, bringing the radius to a flatter 12". To match different radii, the individual saddles can be shimmed with either saddle shims (available on the web) or using copper or aluminum tape.
