They need good drainage; plant where the top of the rhizone is only about one-half inch deep. The iris will be shipped dry root. See picture. My Story: About 10 years ago I started growing irises. Two years ago I divided the irises for the first time. I have added new irises through the years. Now I have more irises than I know what to do with. After looking at eBay, it looks like a good way to move my irises to someone else. I am not a business, just a gardener who turned 85 years old. I cannot take care of my garden as before.
