The book I am offering in this listing is a 128 page high-quality hardcover book with dust jacket, published in 2009 by the author, Charles Enloe Moore, Archaeologist for the City of Florence, Alabama--Beautiful artwork and superb photography of Indian projectile points and artifacts throughout--the end papers are decorated with scenes of native village and map of the region of The Trail of Tears and a key to the 24 Removal Forts--Original owner's name and date Dec. 12, 1009 on endpaper, and an inscription of the same date to his friend, signed "Charlie" and, in the author's hand "#18"--this led me to search for the exact print run of the book. I could not find information on the number, but since the book is considered to be a very specialized academic book, it likely had a printing run in the hundreds of copies, rather than many thousands. Other than the inscriptions, the book would be in the "like new" area--binding tight and secure, pages are intact, clean and bright. It is an excellent book and it will be an addition to your Native American/Alabama/Southern States collection--artifact collectors will marvel at the wonderful projectile points and artifacts and descriptions.
