Description: For sale in our store is a unique and uncommon piece of WW II era firefighting equipment from 1945. This aluminum powder tank was used to provide a replacement sample to fire halls. The aluminum tank once had red paint around the entire piece. The tanks seal up with two locking bolts that swing up and tighten with a couple of wing nuts. The tank is engraved:Replacement SamplePowder Tank MK.1 MOD.1T.A.C.U.Co. 1945423038 A 2 "This item is in very good pre-owned condition, there is paint loss, someone has marked numbers the tank with felt pen, can be removed with rubbing alcohol if desired, there is old masking tape on the top of the handle and some minor scratches and dings. We feel the wear is acceptable for it's age. We have wiped down the outside and have rinsed the interior out with water. This item is being sold as a collectible."
