Signed by Artist, Deirdre Clancy (see below) A pair of framed and matted lithographs of theater costume designs for a London West End production, (c. 1980), depicting18th century characters: a man with a formal embroidered cape and noble attire; and a woman dressed in a large full brown gown with floral motifs and rounded hair piece. Both lithos are framed in matched wood and matted with an unusual linen floral border. Dimensions: Frames, 13" x 16", window images, 8.5" x 11.5". Lithos are in excellent condition, preserved under glass; Minor wear to both frames. A nice addition to any classical decor, and a great gift for a theater person._______________________________________ Deirdre Clancy is a British costume designer. She has won the Olivier Award for Best Costume Design twice. She also won the BAFTA Award for Best Costume Design for Mrs. Brown.
