Description: Fine Antique Chinese Gray Beige Glazed Pottery Ginger Jar Qing Ming Dynasty. Vintage Chinese Beige / gray Ginger Jar. This beautiful ginger jar pot from China with its grayish beige glaze with darker stripes around the outside is in wonderful condition. It does not however, have a lid, but could be used to display a beautiful posy of flowers or used to store items in the kitchen, bathroom or throughout the home. Although we are not exactly sure of its age, this pot may have been made sometime in the 19th century, or possibly as early as the 17th century. It would have been used to store spices, herbs or medicinals. This ginger or spice jar stands about 5” inches tall and 5” inches at its widest point. It does show some age. Please see all pictures.
