Description: Up for sale is a rare War Action film from 1951 ; "Fighting Coast Guard" this one stars Brian Donlevy, Ella Raines and Forrest Tucker. John Russell and Ken Curtis, as well as The Sons of the Pioneers, co star in this action film. This is a very hard to find film. This was done in color, but, to this date no color copies are known to exist. This film was considered lost at one time. This is the Black & White version. SYNOPSIS: The Coast Guard is highlighted in this drama set during WW II. The film also features an interesting glimpse in to the training of the young Guards as they prepare for war. The story centers around a crew of shipyard workers who, upon learning of the attack on Pearl Harbor, immediately sign up for the Coast Guard's officer training program. The crew also dupes their shipyard boss into joining. After their training theyare sent into the South Pacific to fight. The film contains actual battle footage.
