A vacuum gauge also measures the level of dehydration and degassing of different machines including ACs, refrigerators, and deep freezers. Vacuum gauges play a crucial role in ensuring consistent, effective, and safe operation of a wide variety of systems, such as HVAC/R or refrigeration units. The Fieldpiece MG44 digital micron gauge gives you three ways to reliably monitor your evacuation in the field. Long-range wireless technology sends deep vacuum measurements up to 1000 feet (305 meters) away. These measurements can be viewed on your SMAN refrigerant manifolds (SM380V or SM480V), in the Job Link App, or directly on the MG44 digital vacuum gauge.
