Description: This is the Made in Mexico model from the 2000’s. The finish is Natural Gloss and is absolutely stunning because you can see the grain on the wood. It features a semi-hollow Ash body, 3- bolt Maple neck, and a 21- fret Maple fingerboard. The neck profile is a “C” shape and is very comfortable in your hands. Not too thick but not too slim either. Nut width is 1-5/8ths. Loaded with two wide range Fender humbuckers with a master volume and tone with a 3-way blade switch. The guitar comes with a fresh set of 9 gauge strings. I upgraded the original tuners to Klusons. Cosmetically, the guitar is in excellent shape. I had some trouble with the input jack years ago and used a different cover (you can see the holes in one of the pics), but it’s been converted to the original “cup” style input jack—the jack is in perfect working order. There used to be a small square of Velcro beside the input jack to stabilize a wireless guitar “bug” transmitter. There is a small groove cut into the headstock (visible in the pics). It was there when I bought it. All in all, it‘s an awesome guitar with the vibe of the 1970’s.I’m selling it because I have other guitars that get much more attention. I hate seeing guitars just sit around, so I’d like to find a home for this one. Includes Fender hard shell case and Rolling Stones sticker. (NOTE: Marshall cabinet shown in pics is not for sale)
