Description: Incredible Fender Custom Shop 1965 spec Stratocaster recently purchased from Chicago Music Exchange (CME). This is a "Chicago Special" spec'd by CME and it's one-of-a-kind. This was my first Custom Shop purchase and as soon as I got my hands on it and learned how good CS is, I immediately decided to buy a Custom Shop bass. I can't justify the purchase of two CS guitars in the same month so I have to let this one go before I get attached to it.I’ve owned MIA Pro II and Ultra Strats and this thing blows them out of the water. It vibrates like it’s alive and is as loud as an acoustic guitar when not plugged in. The sound is super sweet, glassy, with intense clarity. The fretwork and the white neck binding are like fine art. Condition is near mint and it has about 5 hours of playing time on it. The nick I pictured is super tiny and can only be seen if you hold it up at an angle. It’s from the metal buckle on the CS strap barely touching the body so I wouldn’t recommend using the strap that comes with it. I would put the condition as 9.99 out of 10. The color looks like sea foam green in my pics but I think CME's pics are a better representation of what Celedon Green looks like in person. Originally priced at $4,480. Has a perfect setup so you’ll be good to go straight out of the box. Will ship in the CME box with all the case candy. This is a really special one. Will make you a better player.
