This guitar was selected at the Fender Factory in the United States. The 2-Piece Alder body is finished in Lacquer and Jouneyman Relic, and the neck is 5/4 QTR Sawn Maple. The fingerboard is rosewood, the neck shape is 60 Style Oval "C", and the fingerboard radius is 7.25 Radius. The fret size is Medium Vintage / 47095, with 21 frets. The neck, middle, and bridge pickups are all 62 Jag Flat-Magnet. The BASS VI was released in the latter half of 1961, but it is characterized by the fact that it uses E-E tuning, one octave lower than the guitar, rather than the B-B tuning that is often used in baritone guitars. It is a hidden popular model that is loved not only by guitarists but also by many famous bassists. The Alder body has an offset contour that makes it easy to play whether you're sitting or standing, a short-scale (30-inch) Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. The three single-size pickups can be turned on/off and low-cut with a selector located near the cutaway on the 1st string side.
