Description: This book is a reprint and I believe the date was 1895, but I could very well be wrong. But it is around that date. The book has 26 pages and was printed in 2013. It is not a very clear reproduction, but it is readable. It is comb bound and made with card stock and a clear face cover over the red cover. It is a reprint of Father Murphy's God Cure Institute where alcoholics could go and get cured of alcoholism. However, I'm pretty sure the cure didn't last as long as the daily reprieve we have now-a-days. I believe it was a psychological cure which had only temporary results of sobriety. The cure were injections of double chloride of gold for a period of time and this was supposed to cure the sufferer. And in many cases it did have a temporary relief from drinking, but temporary was all.I had the original years ago and made this reproduction. This is a copy of it and it is only for historical purposes. Double Gold Chloride will not cure you of alcoholism. Please email with any questions.
