However, it can stand on its own without the stand and as such its "cloud" bottom is hollow and one could place a led light (from any hobby shop) and create an effect similar to that shown in the photos. It should be noted that no lighting effect is included with the statue itself however (see disclaimer below). Disclaimer: Any appearance of electronic effects is entirely the manufacturers advertisment for dramatic effect only. As far as I can tell from examining the sealed box and reading the ads online, this figure has no electronic special lighting effects, only pvc (plastic) effects. One could add or place lights under the figure, to create such an effect, but there is no built-in electrical or battery operated components from what I could determine. None. I mention this because I had hoped there were, initially, when I saw the ads myself. And I did not want anyone buying it, thinking there was an electronic special effect. Make your own if you like, this pvc statue is made for it (as stated above). You can buy electrical lighting props and such at any hobby shop, electronic store, or even an a hardware store. It should have been made with it, but, alas, it was not.
