Description: Fantastic Four #40 (1965) Daredevil vs Dr Doom (Kirby Art) (GD/1.8-2.5) -VINTAGE This is the vintage adventure of the Fantastic Four: “The Battle of the Baxter Building”. Dr. Doom has taken over the headquarters of the Fantastic Four. The FF have lost their powers, and Dr. Doom is using Reed Richards’ weapons against them. Daredevil is there to distract Dr. Doom, until Mr. Fantastic can get to one of his greatest inventions, The Electronic Stimulator, a device that can restore the powers of the Fantastic Four. This is a historic event in Marvel Comics, written by the legendary Stan Lee. This book features epic cover art and interior artwork by Jack Kirby. This book is complete. The cover of this book has some visible imperfections, and writing ‘CM’ near Daredevil. (See Photos.) There are several stress points along the spine, and around the edges. (See Photos.) The cover and pages are off-white, due to age. There are stress points and small separations near the staples. There is a hole in page 7. (See Photos). Even though this book is not perfect, it is still complete. (See Photos) In my opinion, this book is in Good- condition (GD-/1.8 -2.5), possibly a little better. This is a vintage collector’s item. This book is bagged, boarded, and will be, safely transported via USPS, in a Gemini II comic book shipping box. Please review all photos. The book in the photos is the exact book that is being purchased. All sales are final. Thank you.
