Description: This is a lovely Chinese famille rose /rose medallion 10" plate that seems Qing to later, 19th or early 20th century. It bears pseudo imperial (Qianlong style) red four character red seal mark underneath. The red type of mark is typical of apocryphal marks from the Republic period looking back at earlier dynasties. The detail and decoration are lovely quality with finely painted figures in an interior and birds and butterflies. The plate has a gold rim. The underside also has lovely hand painted designs. The plate weighs 1 lb, 9 oz. The plates are on Excellent Used Condition with 0 to very few scratches. Multiple Plates are available.
