Pictures show actual item for sale. I received this item brand new in the original box but I regrettably did not inspect the contents. I did not find out until much later that the sword broke off as shown in the pictures. The design is very delicate with the sword sticking out, and the packaging design was not very good to prevent damage to the sword. Luckily, the sword broke off cleanly. There are no small broken pieces. I could have easily super-glued the sword and no one would be the wiser. But in full disclosure, I want the buyer to be fully aware of this condition. Also, I think it will be best for the buyer to be the one to super-glue the sword after receiving the statue, lest it gets damaged again during the shipping. I will protect the broken-off sword in bubble wrap to make sure it does not suffer any further damage during shipping. I am heavily discounting the price of this statue, which is a great deal as the damage will not be visible once glued.
