I believe this is a silk velvet. It has the same hand as the silk velvet from Citron of Santa Monica and Johnny Was. This velvet goes well with both of those labels. Big collar, big slouchy pockets, wide arms and asymmetrical hem. The two mother-of-pearl buttons are placed lower on the front, to accentuate the long line of this amazing jacket.
