Description: Fabulous 1930's Costume Fashion Design Large Original Art Drawing Paris? Exceptional circa 1930's original, vintage costume design on paper, done in pencil and hand colored. The drawing itself measures 12 1/2"H x 8", 15"H x 11"H overall. The artist applied glitter to the hat brim, hoop earrings, bodice, and edges of the cape, for stunning overall eye appeal! This piece was part of a collection of original, vintage costume drawings acquired from the estate of a woman who was an authority on late 1800's/early 1900's French illustration poster art. Other pieces acquired were original costume designs by Charles Gesmer, Zig, and others. It is most likely from Paris, France. The drawing has some creasing, paper loss on the bottom right edge, some small edge tears of 1/2" or less (one which has been secured by a small piece of art tape on the reverse), two small tears/holes on the left edge, and some aging marks, mostly on the edges.
