It was new never used until tested and has been cleaned after testing a small area Includes pre-motor filter and exhaust filter. There are two settings: Auto~detects sweeping and debris and Manual~sweep to it and tap button to activate. This machine picks up the most miniscule particles I didn't see when testing. It is not silent, as it is on non-carpeted flooring. The EyeVac is about the same decibal level of an upright vacuum. Perfect for Barbershops or Hair Salons!!
