Description: This is a extremely rare early Girl Scout medal. It was only available in 1918 & 1919. It is the Girl Scouts War Service medal Presented by the U.S. Government for service in the Liberty Loan Campaign in 1918. A girl scout would need to sell at least 10 subscriptions to the Third Liberty Loan Campaign to earn the medal. This hard-to-find medal is in very nice condition sporting a chocolatey patina and lots of detail.
