Description: This was a gift item given to passengers on the Al Andalus Express luxury train back in 1990. It is a Cufflink and Tie Clip set in a small wooden presentation box. The box measures 3 5/8 x 1 x 2 1/2 inches. These pieces have never been worn and the original tags by Artespana are still on the underside of the box. "Artespana" was created by the Spanish National Institute of Industry in 1969 to promote world awareness of wares produced in Spain. I can find no other example of these cufflinks or tie clips anywhere on the internet. The set is comprised of two metal cufflinks and a tie clip each of which has the Al Andalus Express logo with the letters "AAE" in the center of the field. The metal appears to be pewter.
