The air release valve on these boots, for airborne paratroops, equalizes air pressure at different altitudes. Keep closed except while airborne.The boot consists of layers of wool and felt sealed between the rubber inner and outer layers of the boot. They have a nylon lining for smooth on and off. They are great for snowmobiling, ice fishing, hunting, police, paintball, or any cold weather activity.The name comes from GI's who thought they looked like Mickey's boots.Mickey Mouse boots are not made in half sizes, for half size, order next size down.What you see in the picture is representative of what you will receive.
