We found it has a slight chemical smell but once added to wax it evens out and has a very nice authentic cherry aroma. Due to the extreme cherry overtones we like this one in candles more than soap or body products. Our cherry Champagne toast BBW type performed better in soap and body products during our testing. Cherry champagne is not as strong and will not overpower your soaps and body products.
