This lens was manufactured for the Zeiss-Ikon Icarex 35 camera body, but adapters exist for its mount type, and the continuous aperture selection is a great bonus for video work. The Icarex 35 is best known for being the native body of the very rare Zeiss Ultron 50mm f1.8 lens, famous for its concave front element. The Skoparex sits proudly next to the Ultron in terms of sharpness, color, and feel. This lens is in excellent condition, there's absolutely no fungus, haze, scratches, or dust on the glass to affect image quality. The exterior has minimal scuffs and typical signs of use for its age. Both the aperture and focus rings glide as smooth as butter, and the blades are functioning properly at all aperture settings. I've owned this lens for a few years and shot many rolls of film through it. I'm only selling it to save up enough cash for a medium format investment.
