Description: for sale here is a very good and clean hardy marquis salmon no. 2 salmon fly fishing reel , 4 & 1/8ths size , rear tension , lovely hi-polished spool rim , left or right wind , straight unfiled ribbed brass foot , 2 screw quick spool release , twin checks , overall excellent lightly used example , clean and tidy and mechanically perfect in every respect , no damage , buckles , line burns or flaws ..most paint intact with only very light normal wear as can be seen , very good clean tight example with no looseness or wobble on spindle considering the age ...... actually an excellent reel to use and fully stripped , cleaned and serviced .. comes with excellent matching spare spool , 2 ok-ish but torn at the hinge hardy padded cases , hardy neoprene spool band and paper instructions too.., please see my other listings of hardy and other vintage fishing items this week........look at my other items for sale plus my other ebay account "w666fly" if you buy a reel from me , you can be sure it has been through my workshop , lines removed , fully cleaned and serviced and any worn or damaged parts replaced with new ones , so no loose handles , no chewed up screws , no spool wobble or spindle wear , no bent or filed feet , no worn pawls , no loose rivets or missing parts , good tight springs and always described exactly as i see it , i do all the hard work so you dont have to worry about getting an inferior reel obviously the more vintage reels may have little flaws such as worn screw heads or paint wear or scratches etc but all items will be fully photographed and described correctly , if you are unsure then please contact me..
