Description: Omega British Military Issued RAF 6B/159 WWII Manual winding Wrist Watch Listing for British military issued Omega RAF 6B/159 wrist watch from 1956. Watch is in excellent vintage condition with perfect working order and running accurate time keeping at +14 secs per day. This Omega RAF 6B/159 wristwatch is a true vintage piece, issued by the military in the 1956. The watch features a silver stainless steel case with a polished finish and a fixed, smooth bezel. The black dial boasts Arabic numerals and dot indexes, with a 12-hour analog display. The watch is equipped with a mechanical (manual) movement and has 16 jewels. The two-piece strap is made of fabric and has a lug width of 17mm. The watch is suitable for men with a max wrist size of 6.5-8 inches. This item comes with a seller warranty, but not original box/packaging or manual/booklet. The case looks like never polished and all the edges are sharp, clean for almost 70 year old watch. Some scratches and imperfections exist under magnifying glass but very little noticeable in naked eyes. The dial is untouched and all hour makers and numeral are intact so the hands are good shape. The original lume on hands and index dots are still bright which a nice to have but please don't expect it will be long enough to stay period of time. Crystal is original and clear and overall the watch is excellent vintage condition from 1956. Movement was cleaned and serviced a few years back and running perfect. The only thing if I have to say is the caseback has some scratches which shouldn't affect to the watch performance or looks. One of the best Omega RAF you can find on secondary markets right now. Case measurements, case 36mm, thickness 12.4mm, lug size just under 17mm but easily get through 18mm nato strap that coming with. Lug to lug is 46.3mm.
