Description: This is a truly stunning, etched, "floater" example of Spodumene var. Kunzite from the Dara I Pech Pegmatite. The specimen is lustrous all over, with complex surface patterns and the sought-after "teeth-like" terminations on one end that can be caused by intense hydrothermal etching. The piece has no discernible points of contact and is in excellent condition. Displays a rich pink/lavender color, strongest when viewed through the C-Axis. Includes my label and an old Brian Kosnar/Mineral Classics label. Kunzite specimens of this quality are getting harder and harder to find! ~9.3 x 7.7 x 2.4cm 172.9g
