Description: Pretty antique German bisque head doll by Adolf Wislizenus....c. 1900....measures 24" tall....marked "AW Special Germany"....Excellent Condition....no damage to head....original sleep eyes retain original eyelid wax, eyelashes, and internal plasters....her original body is either near-mint original or has been expertly, professionally repainted....if repainted, it is the best job I have ever seen....I look at the body sometimes and think the paint is original, and other times think it has been restored....either way, she is nicely strung and poses well....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique auctions!
