Taiyo-do Optical Beautyflex D Biokor f3.5 80mm #13850 Excellent+++++ INTRODUCTION:Beautyflex was released from TAIO-DO KOKI(Taiyo-do Optical). They may sell several type of TLR. This model is model D(launched in 1955), the final model from Taiyo-do Optical, and which the operation is like a Rolleicord. Shutter is RECTUS MX B,1~1/300. Lens is Biokor f3.5 80mm provided from Tomioka Optical, and the quality is really good. Please check the attached photos. The balance is really good, and can compete with Yashicaflex, or other TLR cameras.I assure that the quantity of production is not so much, that resent days, it is hard to find in quality like this camera. COSMETIC CONDITION:The cosmetic condition is excellent. There were several places where the small paint loss, but over all in good condition .. Lethertt is fine too. No missing area or crack on lether. Please examine the listing photos and video for the overall cosmetic condition of the item. MECHANICAL: This cameras shutter fires in each speeds. Slow shutter speed seems little longer than actual. The aperture closure moves smoothly, no oil on either aperture or shutter blade. Film winding knob and shutter release works. OPTICAL CONDITION:View and take lenses are very clear. No haze, no fog, no balsam separation, no fungus. We actually loaded the film and tested it. Please check the posted image. We used Fujifilm Across 100 B/W film. IMPRESSION of USAGE: Method of usage is as follows. Insert the film and set the start mark of the film to the start mark in film room. Wind up the film till it stops automatically, and film counter will show ' 1 '. Select the shutter speed and aperture, charge the shuttle (localtes on the right side of the take lens), using focusing knob to focus the object. If the focusing is ready, all you need is to fire the shutter. After taking each shot, wind up to next cut. This individual works(operate) may be very smoothly.
