This may or may not be a lithograph print, we are not sure. If you love Classic Americana it does not get much better. Crosses many collector genres from Militaria, Vintage Americana, Art Prints and more. Neat print with lots of rich color and content, as shown in pictures. It also has "PRICE, 15 CTS" printed on bottom. We thought perhaps this was sold and provided funds for soldiers that had returned from war, but that is a guess. It is nicely framed, behind old style wavy glass with bubbles. The frame's paper backing has a lot of wear as shown in pictures and shows the old framing company (H. Lieber Company of Indianapolis) tag on the back. H Lieber Co was a leading provider of quality art products, photography work, picture framing and much more in Indianapolis from the 1850's until the 1970's. We only gently cleaned the glass and frame but made no attempt to remove the print from the frame. We think someone has removed the print at one time as hang wire is on lower side of frame not upper, so owner may have reversed print in frame when replacing. The print itself is just as shown in pictures with some light discoloring from age and a few slight marks from dirt or other, but they do not effect overall appeal of work in our opinion. We love providing these historic pieces when we can and we have sold many of the rarest prints ever offered on eBay over the years. This appears to be an extremely scarce poster/print. We went back over 25 years of online sales (eBay and other) and we found none. There is a military museum that offers modern copies of an old soiled and damaged copy of this print from $22-$50 depending on size, but this is an original. We found no record of an original listed anywhere, either sold or in collections. There may be some that exist, but if the do, they are likely in private collections or stored in an archive somewhere. We did not see any publisher or name of maker on print. There may be markings under glass or other, but we do not know. Please Read: We ship with extreme care and all items are fully insured!
