For use with repeating flash units. Reference date handwritten on both of the batteries is 11-14-66. For display, reference or collection. There are no identifying markings on the battery pack case. It may be custom-made. The case is plexiglass and is carried by a thick natural rubber or plastic strap. There is a thick coiled attachment cord with a 4-prong female adapter. There appear to be 4 battery flash capacitors nestled in the bottom of the case. There is a rotary switch on the top of the case with handwritten settings on the case, along with two duplicate charts for light setting applications according to film type. This thing is heavy.
