Description: A very unique vintage J. L. Powell leather and braided cotton western / equestrian hoof pick and bullet/shell outdoors belt size 38 in fantastic condition, made in Canada. Smooth natural brown tanned leather tabs for durability with accenting white edge stitching with matching keeper. The adjustment hole tab features 5 bullet / shell loops used for sizing adjustment. They feature the same white colored edge stitching and brass riveted at both ends. The body consists of multiple twisted khaki colored cotton braids woven together to give you comfort. The solid brass hoof pick buckle has a brushed polished finish along with some heft. Only issues are a line on tip (photo 5) which is in the leather, and a scuff on brand name on interior (photo 9). Belt measures 49.5" in length with a width of 1.5" where cotton meets leather, the rest is at 1.25", and has 5 bullet / shell loops for adjustment. First loop from pick measures 38.5" at center of loop, third 41 1/8" center and fifth at 43.75".
