Description: My parents bought me this piece of furniture around 1958, but I'm not totally sure. It has been with the family since then. It has been in storage during moves in 1970 and 1984. It has been in my house since 1986 or so. I have have used furniture oil on the wood surfaces and kept the rest of it clean.I don't have the exact weight yet, because my postage scale does not go that high. All I know is that I can't lift it without taking everything apart so my guess is that the unit weighs around 300 pounds. When I get a better estimate from Ethan Allen I will change the spec. I will make every effort to ship this item within three to five days as I have not contacted a shipper to inquire about packing and shipping. You can see I don't own a furniture store. I have previously sold two or three other Ethan Allen pieces where the buyer picked them up at my house.
