Suction force against the windshield is created by an actuated lever. Simply press the lever down to create a strong hold and lift on the lever to break the suction force. The desired pitch angle of the attached radar detector (not included) can be locked into position with the adjustment knob. A high force magnetic locking bracket engages the radar detectors base allowing for an additional 360 degrees of rotation. Remove the protective film from the bottom of the cup prior to installation and ensure attachment surface is clean.
