She worked in Taxco with both Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma before moving to Puerto Vallarta and opening her own shop in 1966. Most of her early work is stamped with Taxco's Eagle 3, indicating that her designs were executed by Taxco silversmiths. Her work is very modern, reminescent of Danish Modern with its clean contoured lines.
