Designed to protect against Wildland Fire Fighting, this hard hat meets the NFPA 1977 Standard on Protective Clothing and Equipment for Wildland Fire Fighting, 2011 Edition and ANSI/ISEA Z89.1-2009 Type I, Class C, E, and G requirements. It has a four-point woven suspension, which adjusts to fit head sizes 6.5-8. It has a moisture-wicking brow pad that is removable, washable and replaceable. For extra safety precautions, there are four fluorescent yellow retroreflective strips attached to the shell and a glare-reducing feature under the front brim. It includes a Nomex/Kevlar chin strap that has a metal postman's slide fastener and quick-release buckle.
