Description: EPROM Sound expansion for Clavia Ddrum2 cartridge DIY kitUnique and the only custom expansion for Clavia Ddrum2 sound module. It comes as a kit and minimum soldering skills are required. Each board allows custom sound expansion, up to five boards can be installed in Ddrum2. It comes with everything you need for the assembly. There are two sound ROMs included in each kit. Unlike other drum machines of that era such as DMX, LinnDrum, Drumulator, Drumtraks, Tr505, Tr626 etc, which use uLaw compression for sample storage, Clavia uses uncompressed 8bit sounds in Ddrum2. This provides totally different character and own sound of this module, which is punchy and dirty.
