But the shell does like to live in muddy water, and just recently I learned that small epitoniums are found on the beach after storms here in Galveston, and the waters around here are just as muddy as the waters of Manila Bay, so it just makes me think about what one would catch using a tangle net around here---man I wish I knew how to get one! . Anyhow, as the photos show, even with its imperfect ribs, this exquisite beauty will look wonderful on your shelf! A great addition to a first-class collection.
