Epiphone/Gibson SG Heritage Electric Guitar Candy Apple Red Wood grain

Description: A magnificent original gem. After looking at other comps I noticed many inconsistencies that were wrong with others. I have several SG’s to compare to and this Gibson style Epiphone is most comparable to my Gibson 2014 reissue SG Standard. It is not like my regular Epiphone version made in China. Furthermore, these guitars were made in Korea or Japan who excelled in quality and replicated the Gibson embellishments (different than regular Epiphone’s) including both names on the headstock and a neck , tuning knobs, and rectangle fret markers modeling Gibson. The only difference is I had this refinished far superior than one of my factory Gibson’s. You can see in my pics, another magnificent SG for comparison. My master painter simply wet sanded and put several coats of clear to give the wood grain a high luster gloss finish and leaving beautiful depth in the wood grain. The guitar is like glass as you can see from the light reflecting in my pics. Other listings have many inconsistencies and I supplied several pics for comparison Some if the differences are the fret inlays as I explained and I showed a vintage Gibson tuner peg in one pic to compare as well. It doesn’t look like the crappy stock Epiphone version. You can see some of this in the last pics of stock Epiphone’s as compared to Gibson’s style. There was a tiny indentation on the back and we chose not to sand deep into the wood grain which is minimal to the eye and a tiny tip on the right corner headstock. Otherwise this guitar for used is outstanding and has almost no play ever. This guitar is one my collector and hangs with many others not for playing. Everything functions excellent and had no buzz or hum. All you need to do is adjust intonation and action to your liking obviously.
