In addition to the already released 1958 Korina Flying V/Explorer and 1963 Firebird I/V, Gibson's representative models such as Les Paul Standard, SG Custom, ES-355, and Les Paul Custom will be newly released. In collaboration with Gibson Custom Shop, Epiphone will release the Epiphone 1963 Les Paul SG With Maestro Vibrola, a beautiful reproduction of the classic vintage model from 1963, the last year that the "Les Paul" name was used on the SG Custom. 2-piece mahogany body, 1-piece mahogany neck with slim taper profile and long neck tenon. The bound ebony fingerboard, MOP block position inlays, gold hardware, and other iconic designs from the top models of the time are all retained. The headstock is Gibson's original "openbook" headstock shape, and features custom split diamond inlays. The pickups are three Gibson Custombuckers, which are also used in Custom Shop products. In addition, CTS potentiometers, Mallory capacitors, Switchcraft selector switch and output jack are also used, boasting a full range of specifications in terms of sound. A vintage-style hardshell case with the Inspired by Gibson Custom logo is included. The collaboration between Epiphone and Gibson Custom Shop continues to produce unmistakably familiar and high-quality guitars.
