EPIAG DF CZECHOSLOVOKIA CHINA PATTERN 11077 7 7/8" SALAD PLATE

Description: This item is a vintage 7 7/8" Salad Plates that we acquired from an estate sale. It is marked "Epiag Czechoslovokia - 11077" on the bottom. The 11077 pattern consists of an inner & outer gold trim bands and an outer Red & Blue Floral & Gold Urns band. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or fractures. My research of this item says that the backstamp on this piece c.1945. Starorolský Porcelán, EPIAG Dalovice (1945 until 1958)The whole EPIAG group was nationalized in 1945 and together with other factories became the Starorolský Porcelán group. Due to the long tradition of the former privately owned Dallwitz factory in combination with its role during the OEPIAG/EPIAG period the name 'EPIAG' itself remained part of the factory name even after the creation of the Karlovarský Porcelán o.p. branch directorate in 1958.
