Description: In beautiful excellent enhanced condition, A LAST GENERATION VINTAGE BUFFET 3 RING, EXPERTLY MODIFIED standard Bb clarinet mouthpiece originally a C model facing made from a actual CHEDEVILLE BLANK to match the specifications one of my favorite Kaspar mouthpieces. The tip has been professionally opened slightly to .046" or 1.18mm and there has been baffle modifications to improve response and reduce brilliance. The BUFFET CRAMPON & cie appears in an oval of dots in the middle of the barrel. There are 3 slightly spaced rings which indicate the last generation of Chedeville manufacture. Quality vintage hard rubber. On the backside France appears worn to the left of the table. There is on ring up for ligature placement and 3 rings below. I have been modifying this particular model for many years now for many satisfied customers. It plays with a very clear, big focused, tone that emits easily and evenly through the registers of the clarinet with a very clear rich tone color. Engraved 1.15 .045" and GW above the table to indicate the modification. Play tested on VanDoren #3 and Mitchell Lurie 3 1/2 reeds.
