Description: English Sterling Silver Bright-cut Fork Hallmarked William Elliot 1820Presented is a beautiful English sterling silver fork with an upturned end and a bright-cut decoration. This great fork is marked for silver by William Elliot, date-marked for silver made in 1820. I have place pictures of my research on these marks in the photos above. It is in lovely condition with no dents or dings, a nick in the shortest tine, visible ware of the tines, no monogram and some fine scratches from gentle use and care. It is a beautiful distinct piece and makes an excellent addition to to almost any table service or setting.
