British. Oil on canvas. Painted by well listed artist William McWhannel Petrie (English, 1870-1937). Signed lower left. The painting itself measures 32" x 25 1/2" and is displayed in a simple grey painted wood frame measuring 33 1/2" x 27 1/4".Condition: The painting itself is in overall good condition with some in-painting, mainly to the hat, and a dimple in the canvas (upper right quarter) where something must have pressed against it at some point.
