It shows the British Royal Navy review at Spithead. Sailors are waving at the Royal yacht of Queen Victoria. The page measures approximately 22 x 15.5 inches (55.5 x 39cm). It has one vertical fold through the middle, where it was bound into the original journal over 100 years ago. The fold lines are clean without any darkening. The print has four small holes along the fold line caused by the original binding. There is text on the back of these pages, but it does not show through the rich paper. The page is in excellent condition for its age. Back then, the paper was high quality and the print and illustrations are crisp. Based on the date, it is probably the rotogravure printing technique. This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE antique item. All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve and rolled in a sturdy tube.
