The cuff is done in a twisted rope design and has a tension feel allowing it to part slightly in order to go onto the wrist. There is a hook that will clasp to a loop to hold the cuff closed at the top but if the hook comes open it will not cause the cuff to fall off. It will fit up to an 8 1/4" wrist.
