Description: Elvis Presley original Sun#210 45 rpm. The A-side is VG+ and B-side is VG++, read description for the why. This record comes from the Jay R Monroe Sr. estate collection. Known for his extensive, beautiful and original Sun 45’s and 78’s. The record has full gloss both sides, the label was placed a bit high on the A-side so the print is low on the label and thats why I put VG+ on a-side. The vinyl is beautiful on both sides, thats it! The record plays beautifully the Sun way, with “Sun hiss”. If you don’t like the Sun hiss there is something you can do, read articles in pics or if you had a chance to read the other listing from the DJ sample. If you use a 78 rpm needle on early Memphis pressed (pre-November 1955 when Elvis “left the building” with his contract which was sold to RCA). I’ve included the statement from John Boija and the info of Elvis leaving Sun studios in pictures. So if you want your original Elvis Sun’s-#209, 210, 215, 217 and 223 to sound amazing, try out a high quality 78 needle. This is an amazing price for an original ‘54 Elvis Sun in this condition! Don’t let this one get away, they obviously don’t last long! I’ll be posting more Suns from the collection all week, this is the last #210. Good luck and Happy Bidding!! All Domestic Orders Shipped USPS PRIORITY WITH A FLAT RATE AND WITH TRACKING NUMBERS *ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED VIA THE EBAY SHIPPING HUB, UNLESS OTHER ARRANGEMENTS ARE MADE. CUSTOMS HAVE BECOME INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT BUT EBAY’S HUB GETS THEM TO THEIR DESTINATION WITH TRACKING. If you use Popsike etc for reference make sure you read the listings for condition, zoom in on the record for visual confirmation of condition and view the price history. The latest one that sold does not necessarily set the bar. And there is a night and day difference between VG- and M-. IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE UNSATISFIED WITH YOUR PURCHASE, PLEASE CONTACT ME AND I WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. THAT IS MY 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE! All records are play tested on an AT-120x with upgraded stylus, one for 45/33’s “ML” and an “SP” for 78’s. I will also take very detailed pictures with bright lighting and zero filters. Most of the time my pictures will show the grade and description themselves. Grading Scale- (M-) My highest grade, a gem quality like new disc with full blazing gloss. Record was only played a handful of times, will show marks made by 50’s paper sleeve removal and possibly the beginning of a ring on label. Some labels were more prone to this than others. Record was properly cleaned and stored. I do not use “Mint” for 60+ year old records. A M- grade is a top collector piece. (VG+) Can occasionally be “strong VG+ or VG++” in certain instances. A very nice, above average record. Will show signs of use such as eyelash paper sleeve scuffs and/or ring wear. A very nice above average record. Vinyl retains the majority, if not all of its original gloss and playback is excellent. A collectable record. (VG) Vinyl displays more scuffs but gloss is still present. Playback still has nice fidelity. Eyelash sleeve scuffing around most of the surface. There may be some very light surface noise and/or a tick or very slight warp (should be identified in description) but plays all the way through without skips. (VG-) Vinyl has many more scuffs and some scratches (will be noted in description) but most will still have gloss left, others may not so refer to pictures. Many of these often play quite well and make acceptable options, until a better one comes along. After test playing, I will note any specific issue. If not noted, disc may playback with some minor surface noise and/or ticks (G+) Close to the same as a VG-, the playback far surpasses its looks. (G & G-) I do not sell these grade records online.
