The largest coin is .900 silver; the rest have the same composition as the corresponding US coin of 1973. The set comes sealed in its plastic, with its case of issue. The set was minted in the USA, but the precise mint is not indicated on the coins or case. Treasury reports for 1793-1970 indicate that the San Francisco Mint had minted the 1968 and 1969 Proof sets; it is unlikely that later sets were not also minted in San Francisco.
