Description: Elegant set 5 Antique Hand Painted Floral Reticulated Gilt 9" Plates Presented is a gorgeous set of five antique porcelain plates, dating to the late 1800s or early 1900s. These are likely European plates, possibly French or German, though they aren't marked so we aren't sure. Each plate is beautifully hand painted with a different flower in the center, each one done in a colorful and realistic style, very detailed. The plates have reticulated rims, with a vertical pierced section in black and the outermost edge done in gold, with an openwork design. Very striking and unique set. This set is in great overall condition. One plate has a small hairline to one of the vertical pieces, which is not even a chip, just a line and slight discoloration. We show this up close in the tenth photo. The same plate has a bit of crazing to the glaze which is hard to notice without careful inspection, and is only visible on the underside. There are a couple of nicks to the paint here and there; we show the most noticeable of these in the ninth photo. Please view all photos carefully and let that guide your judgment. There are no other issues, and no repairs. Each plate is about 8 7/8 inches in diameter. -jm Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
