Description: Maker: This lovely and delicate gold and white demitasse cup and saucer set is by the legendary English china maker Cauldon. And it reflects that company's high quality: the craftsmanship is of a very high standard. On the reverse of both pieces is the "Cauldon England" mark that was in use between 1905 and 1920 along with the mark of W. H. Plummer, a high-end New York retailer of fine porcelain at the turn of the last century. Cauldon became Royal Cauldon in 1920. It became part of Coalport in the 1960s and part of Wedgwood when Coalport was taken over. Design: The set is in a classic pattern of pure white fine thin and translucent bone china trimmed in gold. Condition: It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips, cracks, scratches, marks, repairs or wear. Size: The cup is 2 1/4 inches wide at the opening and 2 1/8 inches tall.
